Swim to Summer 2014
“Get rewarded for having fun in the pool”

Swim to Summer 2014 is a FREE program that motivates and rewards you for being an active participant in aquatics at Recreational Sports.   Starting on Monday, March 31st and running through Sunday, May 9th 2014 track your aquatic activities as you swim your way to summer vacation!

How to Participate:

Step 1: Register
Register online or in-person with a RS lifeguard at the SRSC-CBAC or Royer Pool starting March 10, 2014. You can sign up for one of two challenges:

10,000 Yard Challenge Group
30,000 Yard Challenge Group

Step 2: Track Your Progress

  • Track your activity in the pool and record your points earned on the tracking log at either pool.
  • Complete the weekly challenges.

Step 3: Reach Your Goal
Upon completing the 10,000 Yard or 30,000 Yard challenge, place your tracking sheet in the Swim to Summer box at either pool by Sunday, May 9th, 2014. You will be eligible to win prizes!

Ways to Earn Points:

Swimming: 25 Yards = 25 yards
Aqua Jog: 10 Minutes = 400 yards
Deep Water Exercise: 45 Minutes = 1,000 yards
RS Swimming Lessons: 1,250 yards
Water Basketball or Volleyball: 10 min = 200 yards
