Joellan Muyskens

Assistant Director Fitness Activities

Joellan has been with the Division of Recreational Sports since June of 2005. As an Assistant Director of Fitness/Wellness she leads a staff of 45-50 Group Exercise and Mind Body leaders and manages the development and implementation of over 100 group fitness sessions per week. She became active as a recreational sports student participant and rowing club member while earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wichita State University (Wichita, KS). While completing her Master of Science in Movement and Sports Science at Purdue University she also worked as the graduate assistant for personal training and group fitness/wellness programs.

Joellan advises the Recreational Sports Sorority Managers Council and is an adjunct lecturer for the Department of Kinesiology at Indiana University.
