Mary Lou Iouco-BewleyMary Lou Iauco-Bewley received her Pilates Matwork Certification from the IU HPER Department under the direction of instructor Emily Bogard. Her background of employment at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, IU Musical Arts Center, Idyllwild Arts Foundation and Interlochen Center for the Arts influences her creativity when leading Pilates. Her sessions take a sincere focus on the goals of the individual exercises and movement patterns, while also concentrating on breath patterns and postural alignment.
Mackenzie Caudill received her Comprehensive Pilates Certification from Body Arts and Sciences, International (Rael Isacowitz).  She has studied with such names as Karen Clippenger, Bonnie Sessions, Karla Adams, and Cindy Reid.  Before coming to IU, she was an instructor at Main Street Pilates Studio and Pilates Fusion in Fort Wayne, IN.  A professionally tracked ballet dancer in the Company of the Fort Wayne Ballet for 14 years, Mackenzie discovered Pilates while recovering from a series of back injuries.  Her passion for helping others strengthen their core and avoid preventable injury themselves makes her a dedicated professional.  A natural teacher with an engaging personality, Mackenzie brings the grace, beauty, and discipline of dance to her approach to Pilates.
Dan L. Cheeseman Dan L. Cheeseman received his Yoga Teacher Training from the Integral Yoga Institute of Buckingham, VA. He has been teaching for 37 years and has more than 8,000 contact hours as a yoga instructor. His style emphasizes a meditative focus while practicing a traditional blend of asanas (postures), Yogic breathing and relaxation.
Rose Hagood Rose Hagood has been studying yoga for eight years and received a 265 hour yoga teacher certification in contemplative hatha yoga from Prana Yoga and Ayurveda Mandala Training Center while living in Denver. Now a graduate student in art education at IU, her sessions focus on body and breath awareness through a variety of yoga postures. She loves being able to share her practice of yoga and offers many adaptations and variations to provide participants with an experience that is as gentle or as challenging as they need.
Devin McGuireDevin McGuire, R.Y.T.,began his studies of yoga at IU in 1979. He is currently practicing the yoga methodology of Krishnamacharya which focuses on the movement of the spine as it functions with the breath to increase strength, flexibility, structural alignment, physiological function, and mental wellbeing. He has studied this methodology of Yoga under the tutelage of Gary Kraftsow, AG, Indra, and Ganesh Mohan, and Srivatsa Ramaswami since 2000. Devin has facilitated group yoga sessions with IU Recreational Sports since 1997 and is registered with the Yoga Alliance.

Devin McGuire Kristin Perkins discovered the joy of yoga in high school and has had a dedicated asana and meditation practice since.  She completed her 200 hour certification through Kanyakumari Ayurveda Education and Retreat Center under Poonam Gupta.  Kristin seeks to create a practice for her students that is accessible and beneficial to all body types, while maintaining the authenticity of traditional hatha yoga
Ann Polsgrove Ann Polsgrove For more than a decade I have used two main tools, yoga and Pilates, to guide clients toward achieving balance, flexibility, strength and an overall ease in movement.  In my sessions I embrace many styles and traditions of yoga and enjoy finding creative ways to weave challenging movements into each session. My Pilates sessions follow the method’s focus on precise movement initiated from the core to tone and lengthen the entire body.  My personal experience using both practices to heal my own body has inspired me to share what I have learned about these two powerful healing modalities with others.  I hold a 200-hour yoga teacher certification from All People Yoga of Indianapolis (2001) where I studied under Nancy Schalk.  I have extensive training (1994-1999) in the Himalayan Tradition, a classical practice of yoga science and philosophy. My Pilates training began with an IM=X Pilates certification (2002) and I recently completed a reformer certification through Stott Pilates.
Emma Shansky Emma Shansky loved to dance and move her entire life, but had decided on a career in Chemistry. After spending two years in the PhD program in Chemistry at IU, she realized her passion for movement was not just a hobby, but a necessary part of her life. This discovery led her to quit school and begin performing and teaching dance again, as well as becoming a certified Pilates instructor and undergoing Yoga teacher training. She now has a new career teaching dance, Pilates, and Yoga and loves to find creative ways to blend these methods.
