A. Leadership Opportunities. Club Sports Officers can run for Club Sports Federation Executive Board positions and Student Recreational Sports Association positions. Students can also participate in the Leadership Program in the spring semester. The Leadership Program is targeted at students who are about to become club sport officers.

B. Mailing Address. Each club has a mailbox in the Member Services HPER Wildermuth. Clubs may use the Campus Recreational Sports Office as a permanent mailing address. The correct address is:

C. Storage. Clubs may request equipment storage space as necessary.

D. Programming Assistance. The Assistant Director of Club Sports is available for problem solving, advice, and direction. An open door policy exists for club members and officers.

E. World Wide Web. The Assistant Director of Club Sports can assist club officers with maximizing the use of the WWW for club activities and promotion.

F. Classroom Space. Clubs can reserve classrooms and rooms in the IMU for meetings through the Student Activities Office (IMU Room 371).

G. Facility Space. Clubs can request space in HPER, SRSC, or athletic facilities for practice or events. No facility rental charges will be incurred for club sports activities. See the Practice section for more details.

H.Promotion Avenues

a. Duplicating. Each club is allotted 100 copies per year from the Division. The receptionist in HPER 290 can assist you with this process.

b. Indiana Daily Student (IDS)

i. IDS provides a reporter(s) to cover club sports. It is the responsibility of the club to inform the reporter of upcoming events and results.

ii. IDS ads can be placed. Contact the IDS for student organization rates and to place an ad.

iii. A list of current activities/competitions/special events is maintained on the World Wide Web.

I.Equipment Usage

a. Sport Equipment specific to the club

b. Special Event Equipment (including chairs, tables, scoreboards, flip scores, coolers, may be provided when inventory is available.

J. Scheduling Personnel

a. Recreational Sports Supervisors for practices, tournaments, or special events.

b. Assist club sport with hiring of EMT or Design staff (for publications such as programs)
