Make a positive choice towards a healthy lifestyle by being a member of Recreational Sports. We hope you will give yourself access to one of the finest campus recreational sports programs in the country. A full Recreational Sports membership gives you access to both the SRSC facilities and the Wildermuth Intramural Center and School of Public Health-Bloomington Building.
In addition to the use of facilities, this membership includes:
Over 80 Group Exercise sessions with specific sessions for faculty/staff during the noon hour and after 5 p.m.
Exclusive pool hours for faculty/staff during the noon hour.
Semi-private cardio studio at the SRSC.
State-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment.
Two-hour monitored parking system at the SRSC.
You may purchase a membership to Recreational Sports for yourself, your spouse, and your dependents under 18 years of age. Stop in at Member Services at the SRSC or the Wildermuth Intramural Center during normal facility hours (click on Facilities button on our homepage for hours or call (812) 855-SRSC for more information.
For your convenience, we have also initiated a true annual membership that automatically renews for the next fiscal year starting from the date of your renewal this year if you pay by payroll deduction. This will help ensure uninterrupted membership privileges. A notice of renewal will be sent out prior to your membership expiration.

Traveling to another university and want to work out at its recreation facilities?
RS members can get a “NIRSA Passport” from RS Member Services and work out at any of the 663 National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA)-member institutions!
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to use Recreational Sports facilities. Children under 18 may come into the facility with their parents or legal guardians who have a valid membership or day pass.
All children under the age of 18 must either have a valid day pass or be on their parent/legal guardian's RS membership.
Children under 18 must be participating with or directly supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Dependents under age 18 may NOT enter with a sister, brother, coach, neighbor, etc.
Pool use by dependents under the age of 18 is restricted to family swim times, swimming lessons or family programming.
Strength and Conditioning areas, Group Exercise sessions and cardio equipment around the track are not available to dependents under the age of 18.
Children under the age of 18 are required to have a Day Pass unless they are included on a parent/guardian's RS membership. Members may include dependents at no additional cost.
