FAMILY SWIM TIMES

Special times are scheduled for members and their families to swim. Use a section of the pool to play with swim toys such as noodles etcetera. Family swim times are great for children enrolled in swimming lessons to practice their skills. Note: Since Recreational Sports is funded primarily by student fees, pool use by dependents under the age of 18 is restricted to family swimming times and swimming lessons at the SRSC or HPER. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All eligible people with a disability are invited to participate in Recreational Sports programs. With your input, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your needs. If you have a disability and have questions about the adapted aquatics program or concerns regarding access to our facilities, please call 855.7772 (phone and TTY). The Counsilman/Billingsley Aquatic Center is ADA compliant with a hydraulic lift for easy entry to the pool.

Pool Closings

The Counsilman/Billingsley Aquatic Center is also the proud home of the Indiana University Women’s Swimming, Men’s Swimming, Women’s Water Polo and Men’s and Women’s Diving Teams. As a result, the pool may be closed briefly at certain times of the year.

NOTE:

All or part of the pools will be closed periodically for special events or programs. Check the Recreational Sports web site for break schedules and facility schedule adjustments or closings. Dependents under 18 must be supervised by a parent/guardian. RESERVE THE POOL FOR YOUR SPECIAL EVENT! The SRSC Counsilman/Billingsley Aquatic Center, HPER Royer Pool and Pool 194 are available for private and group reservations. The entire facility as well as individual sections may be reserved.
