Dan L. Cheeseman Dan L. Cheeseman received his Yoga Teacher Training from the Integral Yoga Institute of Buckingham, VA. He has been teaching for 33 years and has more than 6,800 contact hours as a Yoga Instructor. His style emphasizes a meditative focus while practicing a traditional blend of asanas (postures), Yogic breathing and relaxation.
Ann Georgescu Ann Goergescu began practicing yoga in 1994 and began teaching in 1997. She was certified by the Yoga Alliance in 2000. Ann’s Power Yoga session follows the Vinyasa-style flow and focuses on breath-synchronized movements that help to generate beneficial heat. It is sure to be a challenging, focused, and athletic practice. Ann received her instructor training in Pilates from im=X pilates in 2001.
Bette Lucas Bette Lucas has taught Middle Eastern and Flamenco Dance for 20 years, and is an actively performing professional and teacher. Her background includes study of ballet, jazz, yoga and Pilates. Her Middle Eastern training has been mostly in Egyptian style, but she teaches basic technique and combinations that can be used in all styles.
Devin McGuire Devin McGuire, R.Y.T. began his studies of yoga at Indiana University in 1979. He is currently practicing Viniyoga which focuses on the movement of the spine as it functions with the breath, to increase strength, flexibility, structural alignment, physiological function, and mental wellbeing. Devin has been studying this methodology of Yoga under the tutelage of Gary Kraftsow, K. Desikachar, Srivatsa Ramaswami, and AG Mohan since 2000. Devin has facilitated group sessions of yoga practice with IU Recreational Sports since 1997 and is registered with the Yoga Alliance.

Cherry Merritt-Darriau Cherry Merritt-Darriau (MS, Certified Yoga Therapist) is director of Deer Path Yoga Center and has taught yoga for over 30 years. She began her training in Paris, France and is certified by the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophy. She teaches classical yoga including yoga poses, breathing techniques, stress management, relaxation and meditation.
Abi Rich Abi Rich recently completed her B.S. in Dance through the Department of Kinesiology. She comes from an extensive dance background, including teaching experience in a variety of disciplines, and most recently, studying at the 13th Annual International Contemporary Dance Festival in Bytom, Poland. Her interests in the Feldenkrais technique, yoga, and Pilates have influenced her holistic approach to dance, balancing physical fitness, strength, and flexibility with an emphasis on awareness of placement and movement.
   
Jacki Watson Jacki Watson has been involved with IU’s martial arts and yoga programs since 1998 and recently completed her Pilates certification through the IU HPER department’s two semester professional intensive course in Pilates Matwork. She is a personal trainer for Recreational Sports and has a passion for helping participants learn proper form and efficient, smooth body movement to prevent injury, increase flexibility, strength and endurance, and create an elevated sense of self confidence.
