“Get rewarded for having fun in the pool”

Swim to Summer 2015 is a FREE program that motivates and rewards you for being an active participant in aquatics at Recreational Sports.   Starting on Monday, March 30 and running through Sunday, May 3 2015 track your aquatic activities as you swim your way to summer vacation!

How to Participate:

Step 1: Register
Register with a RS lifeguard at the SRSC-CBAC or Royer Pool starting March 9, 2015. You can sign up for one of two challenges:

10,000 Yard Challenge Group
30,000 Yard Challenge Group
 

Step 2: Track Your Progress

  • Track your activity in the pool and record your points earned on the tracking log at either pool.
  • Complete the weekly challenges.

 

Step 3: Complete the Challenges

Complete fun and entertaining weekly swim challenges to be entered in weekly drawing to keep you motivated to reach your personal swim goals.

 

Step 4: Reach Your Goal
Upon completing the 10,000 Yard or 30,000 Yard challenge, place your tracking sheet in the Swim to Summer box at either pool by Sunday, May 3, 2015. You will be eligible to win prizes!

 

Ways to Earn Yards:

Swimming: 25 Yards = 25 yards
Aqua Jog: 10 Minutes = 400 yards
Deep Water Exercise: 45 Minutes = 1,000 yards
RS Swimming Lessons: 1,250 yards
Water Basketball or Volleyball: 10 min = 200 yards






April 1 Outdoor Pool Swim Lesson Registration begins


May 20 Step Into Fitness Kickoff Event, 11:30AM - 1:30PM, WIC


May 22 Outdoor Pool Open House, 5:30PM - 7:30PM
