HPER Main Level (Wildermuth) Locker Room Renovation Update:

The HPER Wildermuth locker room renovation project began on Monday, November 12th. Please look for special signage with a yellow RS hardhat that will help guide you appropriately!

The HPER locker room renovation will affect these areas of the HPER:

The HPER 190 hallway will have a women-only access to 192A, 192B, 192C, the changing area, showers, and rest rooms.

Men will enter locker rooms through the doorway located near the Equipment Check-Out Office in the Wildermuth Gym.

Men will need to enter and exit Pool 194 through the Enberg Studio-side doorway.

HPER Main Level (Wildermuth) Locker Room Renovation
IU Campus Recreational Sports and the School of HPER are pleased to announce the addition of a women’s locker room and the renovation of the men’s locker room on the main level of the HPER building.

Upon completion of this project – anticipated in the 2008 spring semester - participants using the current men’s locker room and women’s locker room will experience a much improved locker room environment that will reflect enhanced aesthetics, health and safety.

Renovation highlights for both men’s and women’s locker rooms:
• New fixtures, including lockers, benches, toilets, shower stalls, shower heads and sinks
• Improved safety and security
• Upgraded plumbing and electrical systems
• Improved ventilation system and possible addition of air conditioning (if funding permits)
• New floor surfaces
• Newly painted surfaces
• Improved access and private spaces for people with disabilities (chair lifts, private showers and bathroom spaces)
• Separate space for faculty/staff in the women’s locker room
• Evaluating the removal or replacement of the saunas
