How do I add more people to my roster?

Rosters will be managed through web based software called IM Leagues. We have created a tutorial with detailed instructions for How to Invite Teammates

Do we need to purchase uniforms?

No.  Uniforms are not required. Recreational Sports will provide mesh jerseys for checkout with a valid student ID, if necessary.  For sports held in the pool: a suitable bathing suit must be worn (girls can wear a 1 or 2 piece suit). An athletic t-shirt and/or shorts may be worn over the bathing suit.

Can we create a unique name for our team?

Upon registration team captains can provide a name.  Recreational Sports reserves the right to change team names if deemed inappropriate or could be interpreted by others as offensive.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

How do I register?

1.       Profile: log into www.imleagues.com/indiana to get started

2.       Players: invite and confirm teammates to meet roster minimum

3.       Pick: select the day and time offering that best suits your schedule needs

4.       Pay ONLINE

5.       Play

For step by step instructions please see our “How to Register Page

Do I have to sign up a complete team or can I sign up as an individual?

Nope! While you can sign up a full team, you can also sign up as an individual and we will match you up with other individuals to form a team. All individuals will need to attend the Captain and Individual Participant meeting to meet other players, identify a team captain, and identify a team name. Individual Player sign up is not offered for Battleship, 4x4 Dodgeball, Wallyball, and 4x4 Volleyball.

Do I need my roster to register my team? (NEW 2014-2015)

We have moved to Online Registration with IM Leagues. Captains will first create teams and then invite and confirm team members. Once a team has reached the minimum roster numbers, captains can select the preferred time and date for play

What is the cost?

Team and Individual registration fees can be found at www.imleagues.com/indiana.

SPORT FORMAT

What is the difference between Leagues and Tournaments?

Intramural Sports offers a wide variety of Leagues based on the experience participants would like to have with Intramural Sports, their skill level, and their affinity group.  These leagues are 5 weeks in duration and, depending on the league structure may include a playoff option.  Intramural Sports offer various single day and multi-day tournaments.  Tournaments differ from Leagues because they do not possess an extended regular season format.  Tournaments are classified based on the skill level of participants

What is the difference between Competitive and Recreational Leagues?

Competitive - Designed for the sport enthusiasts who wish to apply their skills in a competitive environment at a high level in pursuit of a championship.  Participants seeking this competitive sport setting will be guaranteed a three game regular season followed by a single elimination playoff for qualifying teams.

Recreation - Designed for players who are seeking a purely recreational experience.  In this league participants will experience a more leisure setting where social and fitness benefits are desired over competition.  Participants seeking this recreational experience will be guaranteed a five game regular season without playoffs.
